The absolute best hotel to stay once you land in Colombo. It is a little south of Colombo main city. Away from the traffic and busy area. It has a beautiful clean beach right out the front. The staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you. A special mention to Penelope on the front desk. She was exceptional in her service and gave us good advice. She was a trainee, but we felt she was so capable in running the front reception already.

It was a great experience.The view was amazing and friendly staff very helpful especially at the governor's restaurant kavinda,Rohana, and Tilak Ratna were very cooperative and was quick to fulfill our needs.The best getaway in Sri Lanka heaven on earth feeling.

We love this property so much we come back multiple times throughout the year and there a lots of guests who adore this property with repeat custom showcasing how remarkable this place truly is.

Beautiful colonial style hotel with ocean view very comfortable rooms. Excellent service from all of the staff. Special mention to Thivanka snr lobby manager for going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Also special thanks to Endra and staff at the breakfast lounge. Will definietly recommend the hotel to anyone who wants a relaxed stay.
